Edward Dow, M.D. is a well-established physician in the specialty of Hematology-Oncology with over 7 years of experience in the biopharma industry concentrating on the development of therapies for the treatment of cancer and blood diseases. His industry experience includes both medical affairs and as well as clinical development ranging from First Trial in Human Studies as well as registrational NDA enabling trials. A specific area of expertise is immune-oncology including both monoclonal antibodies, anti-tumor vaccines as well as cellular therapies (marrow transplant and adoptive T cells). In addition to expertise in myeloma, lung and bladder cancer he also has in-depth knowledge of inherited or genetic blood disorders e.g., in particular, Von Willebrand’s Disease and Sickle Cell Anemia.

Prior to industry, he was in full-time clinical practice in a variety of practice settings ranging from academic and community-based teaching hospitals to private practice that gives him a broad and unique perspective of delivery and access to care. He still sees patients on a limited basis. He also served for six years on the Executive Board of the Massachusetts Society of Clinical Oncologists including treasurer and vice president of that society to be proactive on reimbursement issues that affected cancer patients’ access to care and the constantly emerging state of the art therapies that improve their outcomes.

He has a highly collaborative work style and is adept at building cross-functional teams to meet specific project needs and drive results. A native New-Englander, he resides near Boston, Mass with his family, and enjoys outdoor sports and activities in all four seasons of the year.
