Farid Moussavi is President of FMDAK, Inc., a business technology transformation firm that collaborates with early-stage Senior Management Teams on the development and delivery of their strategic programs. He is a business transformation enabler whose professional background includes a blend of senior technology development and operations roles coupled with management consulting experience in the financial services and healthcare industries.
His recent roles have included Advisor to the Chief Architect of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance, CTO of Fidelity Investments, and the Global Head of Enterprise Technology Standards and Governance at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In 2007, he co-founded Ineum Consulting North America (since acquired by Accenture) where he led the Global Technology Solutions Practice based out of New York City with a client portfolio spanning North America, Europe, and Asia. Areas of specialization included execution strategies for risk/regulatory compliance, technology sourcing, and merger integration. Prior to Ineum, Farid was a Managing Director at BearingPoint/KPMG and a lead systems engineer at AT&T Bell Laboratories and AT&T International where he held senior/executive positions both in the United States and in Europe.
Throughout his career, Farid has launched and/or been instrumental in building and operating successful profitable teams in the United States, Canada, the UK, and Europe. Having lived and worked on 3 continents, his multi-lingual and multi-cultural professional background (fluency in English, Italian and Farsi) enables him to understand, articulate and resolve complex business issues facing today’s global executive.
Farid has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and has completed post-graduate coursework at Harvard and Columbia University.
